This article addresses the theme “Micah: The Prophetic Social Consciousness”, highlighting the relevance of the Old Testament prophet in his ethical, social, and spiritual role. The research starts from the problem of the dissociation between faith and practice, seeking to understand how Micah’s message integrates spirituality and social justice. The article analyzes prophecy in Israel, its nature and function, and explores the Book of Micah, emphasizing its structure, historical context, and the prophet’s identity. Methodologically, this is a qualitative, bibliographic research based on classical and contemporary theological works. The results indicate that the prophetic message remains current, offering foundations for an integral spirituality that values ethics and social commitment. Therefore, biblical prophecy is a call to transformation, with significant implications for the church’s mission in facing contemporary challenges.
