Entender que a religião está presente em praticamente toda a trajetória da humanidade, ajuda a entender a dependência que um indivíduo sente de se relacionar com um ser Divino, e como ele muda a sua vida por causa de uma crença, ao ponto em que ele escolhe passar isso para sua futura geração. As crianças que começam a se relacionar com a religião demonstram comportamentos diferentes, e é isso que veremos. O propósito do presente trabalho é trazer uma visão ampla e específica sobre como a religião pode influenciar no comportamento e desenvolvimento humano, porém, exploraremos como a religião pode influenciar em uma fase específica do ser humano, sua infância. Pontuamos como o desenvolvimento pode ser afetado de maneira positiva e negativa quando inserido a religião na infância. A intenção é responder perguntas como essa de maneira clara e objetiva, usando também da psicologia para explicar como o desenvolvimento cognitivo da criança é afetado e como a crença religiosa mexe e desenvolve o indivíduo.
APLICAÇÃO DO MODELO DE DISCIPULADO DE CRISTO NO CONTEXTO PÓS-MODERNO; DESAFIOS E OPORTUNIDADES.

Este trabalho analisa o discipulado cristão à luz do modelo de Jesus, confrontando-o com as características do contexto pós-moderno. Por meio de pesquisa bibliográfica e análise teológico-cultural, identificam-se desafios como a desconfiança das autoridades, a cultura do descarte, o hiperindividualismo e as relações líquidas, como fatores que fragilizam o compromisso de seguir a Cristo e manter a vivência comunitária. A investigação percorre definições preliminares, a natureza do discipulado nas Escrituras, bem como as práticas de Jesus e o contributo de teólogos contemporâneos, evidenciando que o discipulado não se limita apenas a um processo de ensino teórico, mas se consolida na prática do amor, do serviço e da comunhão. O estudo demonstra que o discipulado segundo o modelo de Jesus é essencialmente relacional e sacrificial, marcado pelo chamado pessoal, pelo compromisso, o ensino, a convivência e a ênfase na multiplicação do modelo. Ressalta-se que a consolidação de discípulos não ocorre pela efetividade de métodos organizacionais isolados, mas por meio de relacionamentos genuínos fundados na obediência e na ação transformadora do poder de Deus. Conclui-se que, embora a pós-modernidade imponha barreiras, é possível contextualizar o discipulado sem renunciar aos princípios bíblicos fundamentais, reafirmando a necessidade de um discipulado intencional, comprometido e orientado pelo Espírito Santo. Por fim, propõe-se uma abordagem estratégica que alia a fidelidade ao exemplo de Cristo com ações adaptadas às realidades urbanas e pós-modernas, apontando caminhos para a formação de discípulos maduros, capazes de glorificar a Deus no dia a dia e discipular as novas gerações.

Educação e fé na periferia: análise da implementação do Ensino Religioso em Santa Cruz no Rio de Janeiro

This study analyzes the challenges and particularities of implementing Religious Education in public schools in the Santa Cruz neighborhood, located in the western zone of Rio de Janeiro. Constitutionally guaranteed, this subject plays an essential role in the integral development of students by promoting respect for differences, interreligious dialogue, and the understanding of cultural and spiritual diversity within Brazilian society. However, the effective implementation of Religious Education faces significant obstacles, such as the lack of qualified teachers, inadequate teaching materials, and the absence of a standardized curriculum that embraces religious plurality without compromising the secular nature of the State. In peripheral contexts like Santa Cruz, these challenges are intensified by precarious educational infrastructure and the lack of specific public policies for the area. This research seeks to understand the factors limiting the availability and quality of Religious Education, identifying gaps in teacher training and in the adoption of non-confessional teaching approaches. The motivation for this study arises from the author’s own experience as a public school teacher, witnessing the effects of the absence of Religious Education on students’ development. Ultimately, the study aims to provide a detailed diagnosis of the local situation and offer recommendations to strengthen pluralistic and ethical education in public schools. Thus, it seeks to contribute to the appreciation of Religious Education as an instrument for citizenship, respect for diversity, and the construction of a more inclusive and aware society.
Missões Transculturais: os desafios da evangelização na cultura da Tailândia

This article analyzes transcultural mission in Thailand, highlighting the challenges and possibilities of Christian evangelization in a predominantly Buddhist context. The study, grounded in the Great Commission (Matthew 28:18–20) and the Missio Dei (BOSCH, 2002; GOHEEN, 2021; SMITH, 2022), employs a bibliographic and descriptive methodology, drawing on theological and cultural works as well as data from the Joshua Project and the Lausanne Movement. It examines the distinctions between local and cross-cultural mission, the historical and religious context of Thailand, and barriers to the Gospel such as syncretism, the Buddhist worldview, and social pressures. The article emphasizes strategies including interpersonal relationships, contextualized communication, and compassionate witness. It concludes that evangelization, though challenging, is possible and requires missiological, linguistic, and cultural preparation, along with dependence on the Holy Spirit, presenting transcultural mission as an extension of God’s redemptive work.
A relação entre a Igreja e o estado: um estudo sobre a influência da política partidária na pureza da Igreja

This article examines the relationship between the Church and the State, focusing on the influence of party politics on the purity and unity of the Church, with emphasis on the context of Baptist congregations. The study is based on the hypothesis that party politics, when introduced into the ecclesial environment, can stain the Church’s purity and weaken its unity. Methodologically, the research was developed through a bibliographical review, drawing on contributions from Reformers, contemporary theologians and Baptist thinkers on religious freedom, church–state separation and secularism. Additionally, field research was conducted with 79 members and leaders of Baptist churches in the state of Rio de Janeiro, using an electronic questionnaire to identify believers’ perceptions regarding the impact of political polarization within church life. The results indicate that most respondents perceive the presence of tensions, conflicts and internal distancing related to political positions, even though most churches do not formally endorse candidates or parties. The historical analysis revealed that the Baptist tradition, since its beginnings, has defended religious freedom and the distinction between the spheres of Church and State, understanding that the instrumentalization of faith for political projects compromises Christian witness. From a pastoral perspective, the study highlights the need to preserve the centrality of the gospel, avoid the use of the pulpit as an electoral platform, respect the freedom of conscience of church members, and promote unity as an expression of the Church’s vocation—while maintaining firm convictions and influencing all areas of human life, including politics. The study concludes that political polarization represents a concrete challenge to the Church’s purity and unity, demanding biblical discernment and pastoral prudence in its relationship with the State and the public sphere.
O processo de desenvolvimento de líderes no reino de Deus: Em defesa de uma filosofia de formação de liderança servil a partir de um modelo trinitário de autodoação

This article proposes a Kingdom-centered and Trinitarian approach to the development of Christian leaders, articulating theological foundations and principles of organizational formation. Structured in three dimensions — internal, external, and transcendent — the model understands leadership development as a spiritual, relational, and continuous process, centered on self-giving and service. The internal dimension refers to the consolidation of the leader's identity in Christ, their self-perception, and the coherence between being, knowing, and doing. The external dimension concerns the capacity to perceive the other and the context as a field for service and mission. The superior dimension, on the other hand, implies submission to divine revelation, spiritual discernment, and alignment with God's will. The formative process is represented by an ascending developmental spiral, composed of five recurrent stages: identity, calling, perception of reality, response, and multiplication. This dynamic highlights the non-linear and relational nature of the leader's growth, who matures through the interaction between experiences, crises, and vocational faithfulness. The proposed process adopts Kingdom-centric evaluation criteria, based on faithfulness and engagement, prioritizing coherence with the character of Christ and missionary commitment within the context of the faith community. Thus, it offers a theological and pedagogical basis applicable both to the formation of ministerial leaders and to the development of organizational leadership guided by the values of the Kingdom of God.
Seguimento e discipulado em Mc 1.16-20: as exigências do discipulado e a contemporaneidade

This article explores the demands of discipleship as presented in Mark 1:16-20, aiming to reflect on their application and relevance for contemporary Christians. The central hypothesis is that Jesus' demands, which involve the abandonment of a previous life and total dedication to Him, are timeless principles that continue to shape and challenge modern Christian life. Through exegetical and hermeneutical analysis, this study investigates the distinction between Jewish discipleship and following Jesus, emphasizing the practical implications of this difference. Furthermore, the article examines how Jesus' call to leave one's former life remains a central aspect of Christian commitment, offering an application of these demands to contemporary life and pastoral practice. The conclusion is that Jesus' teachings maintain their relevance over time, providing a solid foundation for Christian life and its role in the modern world.
