A crise do discipulado na Igreja contemporânea à luz da Grande Comissão
    (2025) Matheus Simões da Silva
This study analyzes the crisis of discipleship in the contemporary Christian church in light of the Great Commission of Matthew 28:18–20, arguing that the numerical growth of churches has not been accompanied by effective disciple formation. Grounded in the biblical theology of mission, especially through the concepts of Missio Dei and the priesthood of all believers, this research demonstrates that the mission of the church has always been connected to the formation of a people who live for the glory of God and the transformation of the world. Through a qualitative, bibliographical, and hermeneutical methodology, the contributions of authors such as N. T. Wright, Michael Goheen, Timothy Keller, Graeme Goldsworthy, D. A. Carson, John Stott, and David Bosch were analyzed. The study also presents a sociological analysis of the Brazilian urban context, particularly in the city of Rio de Janeiro, highlighting the paradox between evangelical expansion and the persistence of violence, corruption, and social degradation. The conclusion affirms that the weakness of social transformation is directly related to the weakening of biblical discipleship, emphasizing the urgent need for a return to relational, intentional, and multiplying discipleship as the central mission of the church.

As bem-aventuranças em Mateus 5:3-11: Como Seus Ensinamentos Centrais Respondem aos Desafios Da Igreja Contemporânea
(2025) Carlos Felipe dos Santos Lopes
This article addresses the theme “The message of the Beatitudes in Matthew 5:3–11: how their central teachings respond to the challenges of the contemporary church” and aims to investigate how the fundamental teachings of Jesus, expressed in the Beatitudes, can be applied as responses to the ethical and social challenges faced by the church today. The hypothesis guiding this research is that the Beatitudes offer essential principles which, when properly understood and applied, provide solid guidelines for dealing with issues such as inequality, social justice, and religious pluralism.
