A infiltração da nova era no cristianismo contemporâneo: desafios doutrinários e influências na Fé Cristã
    (2025) Laura Andrade Maciel Araújo
This article aims to examine the infiltration of New Age ideas and practices into contemporary Christianity and their impacts on faith and religious practice, identifying their historical roots, conceptual foundations, and doctrinal implications. Adopting a qualitative and bibliographic approach, the study engages in dialogue with both classical and contemporary scholars of Christian theology, including John Stott, Paul Heelas, Francis Schaeffer, and Wouter J. Hanegraaff. The findings indicate that the New Age movement, characterized by mystical foundations and religious syncretism, has influenced Christian discourse through the incorporation of esoteric concepts, astrology, positive thinking, consciousness expansion, inner balance, self-overcoming, and Neuro-Linguistic Programming (NLP). These elements promote an anthropocentric and therapeutic form of spirituality that displaces Christ from the center of faith, weakens biblical doctrine, and diminishes the authority of Scripture. The study concludes that an adequate Christian response to this challenge requires renewed spiritual discernment, fidelity to sound doctrine, and a return to the absolute centrality of the Word of God as the sole infallible rule of faith and practice.

O legado profético de Jesus Cristo: uma análise teológica e histórica
    (2025) Fernando de Andrade Silva
This article explores the prophetic legacy of Jesus Christ from a theological and historical perspective, analyzing his prophecies as recorded in the Gospels and their relevance throughout the centuries. The investigation highlights the importance of these prophecies for the formation of Christian theology and their influence on Western culture. The main prophecies analyzed include predictions about the destruction of Jerusalem, Jesus's death and resurrection, and eschatological prophecies related to the end times. The methodology used was the historical-theological method, allowing for a critical analysis of biblical texts and their historical contexts, revealing the evolution of prophecy interpretation over the centuries. Authors such as N. T. Wright and George Eldon Ladd were key to understanding the theological and historical aspects of the topic. The study concludes that, although interpretations have changed over time, the impact of these prophecies on faith and Christian practice remains significant. These predictions continue to inspire eschatological hope and shape Christian ethics and spirituality, underscoring their relevance in both contemporary theology and culture.
