A relação do texto de Ap 4-5 com a Literatura Apocalíptica
    (2025) André da Silva Novaes
This article examines the relationship between Revelation 4–5 and apocalyptic literature, based on the hypothesis that these chapters engage in a dialogue with apocalyptic texts originating from Second Temple Judaism. The research adopts a qualitative approach of a descriptive, explanatory, and analytical nature, grounded in a specialized bibliographic review. It concludes that Revelation 4–5 exemplifies the incorporation and reinterpretation of the Jewish apocalyptic tradition, articulating a theology of praise, divine sovereignty, and the victory of the Lamb, and offering a message of hope and resistance to Christian communities at the end of the first century CE.
